“Hanging out with people in Venice and Santa Monica, the beach, the Hare Krishnas, the Sikh on roller blades with the guitar, girls on Tinder within a 4 mile radius, seeing other bands, etc. I would just tweet out “does anybody wanna hang?” and then I’d get together with people who responded and talk about life. Developers can now issue promo codes for their apps on the Play Store

Promo codes have been a long requested features by Android developers and it appears Google has finally decide to oblige and bake the functionality straight into the Play Store. In its current state, it is executed in a pretty straightforward manner.

Promotion codes can be issued through the developer console and then distributed in any way the developer deems fitting for his marketing needs. Each code can only be used once and redeemed either towards a paid app as a whole or a particular in-app purchase.

Currently the code can only be used to make an item free, no discount options are present in the initial version. Also, you cannot create codes for subscription content yet.

There are also a few other limitations to the functionality. App owners can only issue up to 500 promo codes per quarter. This quota can be used towards any number of combinations between free app coupons or in-app purchases (if the app happens to have both). Unused quotas do not roll over form quarter to quarter and there are also time restrictions on the validity of codes, which are adjustable to up to one year.

Donald Trump's 50 shades of angry

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Donald Trump declared in Thursday’s debate that he will “gladly accept the mantle of anger” ascribed to him by South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) earlier this week

And he’s using every shade of that emotion as he fights to stay atop the GOP field.

Days after Haley warned Republicans to resist their party’s “angriest voices,” Trump smiled, called her a friend as he scanned the audience for the governor, and agreed with her description of his views.

Ted Cruz shreds Donald Trump over Canada attacks

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Ted Cruz didn’t show any Canada nice in ripping into Donald Trump over his birthplace, getting the better of the GOP front-runner as they tangled during Thursday night’s GOP debate.

Cruz used a question about whether he’s eligible to be president because he was born in Canada to counter-attack Trump’s recent attacks in Thursday night’s GOP debate in South Carolina.

“Since September the Constitution hasn’t changed but the poll numbers have and I recognize that Donald is dismayed that his poll numbers are falling in Iowa but the facts and the law here are quite clear,” Cruz said, pointing to Trump’s comments last fall that his lawyers had told him Cruz was eligible. …
