Today Huawei launched the nova smartphone in China at a special event, but the spotlight was stolen by another announcement. Since the beginning of this year Huawei has shipped more than 100 million smartphones worldwide.

This is very good news for Huawei and a reason for celebration. Huawei shipped 100 million smartphones for the whole 2015 year, while now it has two and a half months to make a new sales record.

Huawei previously announced it has sold more than 6 million Huawei P9 flagships and more than 1.5 million Honor smartphones. Its next big thing – the Mate 9 – is yet to be…

Time to look for alternatives: get the Galaxy Note 7's features on the Note 5 with these tips!

After an unfortunate saga with the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung finally made the tough decision to pull the plug on the device. So, the Note 7 is dead and many that waited for it are undoubtedly bummed out, some of us here at the office included. It’s time to look for a viable alternative to the highly anticipated … – Source

Back in August, aviation secretary R. N. Choubey had revealed that the Indian government will announce a set of reforms to let airlines offer in-flight Wi-Fi on all flights over Indian airspace. The announcement was supposed to happen within 10 days but nearly two months later, the government is yet to make any such announcement.

Watch: Surprise drenching from whales vastly improves fishing trip

Rebecca Reyland and her partner Mitchell Goodwin embarked on a fishing trip north of Rottnest Island, Australia with some friends recently. What they didn’t expect was to be drenched by a breaching whale’s exquisite display of aqua-aerobics.

Reyland told PerthNow that there were 4 or 5 whales around the boat at the time, but it was just one particular show off who gave the humans a fright, and a soaking.

While an Olympic diving judge would take off points for splash-back, this whale has no time for arbitrary human point systems — it’s got belly flops to do!

You can now watch Facebook videos on the big screen through Chromecast or Apple TV

This is clearly one of those “better late than never” things. Do you have a Chromecast, or another Google Cast enabled device (like an Android TV, for example), or an Apple TV? Do you use Facebook (who doesn’t?) and wish there was an easy way to see those videos popping up in your News Feed on your TV?

Well, there’s finally a solution. Facebook is adding support for the Google Cast protocol as well as Apple’s AirPlay. This is already live in the social network’s iOS app as well as on its website. You’ll soon be able to cast videos to your Chromecast from the Facebook for Android app…

Kevin Durant casually eats a young fan's nachos in the middle of practice

Golden State Warriors fans appear to be embracing their newest acquisition.

They’re getting so comfortable, in fact, that they’re letting Kevin Durant crack open the refrigerator and help himself to some grub, so to speak.

At the Warriors annual preseason open practice Wednesday night, Durant took a break from the action when a young fan shared his nachos with the former NBA MVP.
