To Paris with love: Handwritten notes fill windows at restaurant under attack

In the days following the Paris attacks, which left hundreds dead and injured, people have created memorials around the globe

Huawei P9 and Xiaomi Mi 5 to both come with 5.2-inch AMOLED screens?

Some specs for the Huawei P9 and Xiaomi Mi 5 have been found posted on Weibo. These are two eagerly awaited high-end handsets. Right off the bat, it appears that both phones will be sporting a 5.2-inch screen. Remember when the 4.3-inch screen on the HTC HD2 seemed to be tremendously large? Both will be AMOLED displays with 2K or 4K resolution.

The handsets go their separate ways when it comes to the chipset under the hood. The Mi 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, which means it will feature a quad-core CPU with Qualcomm’s own Kryo cores inside. The Adreno 530 GPU will be handling … – Source

Celebrate 25 years of 'Home Alone,' the story of a young psychopath and murderer-in-training

Most of us remember Home Alone as the tale of plucky eight-year-old Kevin McCallister, who saves his home from a pair of dim-witted amateur burglars trying to pull a Yuletide siege. But today, on the film’s 25-year anniversary, it’s time to take a good, hard look at this alleged family film

Home Alone is, in reality, the story of a young psychopath in his prime — who, despite total disregard for the physical and emotional well-being of everyone he encounters, manages to fail spectacularly at his many, many murder attempts

When we meet Kevin, he’s surrounded by the chaos of a large family at the holidays. He’s clearly neglected; when he’s not, he’s being bullied or called incompetent in French. Still, Kevin demonstrates a shocking and audacious spirit. When his mother asks him to do her a favor, Kevin spits back: “Hang up the phone and make me, why don’t ya?” …

As for the update, aside from design changes, it also brings several new features, including split screen functionality and card taskbar. In addition, the device’s camera UI has also been updated with several new options. Hit the Source link below for more details on the update.

This season of The Good Wife is chocked full of things we’ve seen before: an election, a voting scandal, Peter and Alicia faking it, Alicia starting a new firm, Alicia battling her old firm in court. However, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing

Some transgender men need period underwear like this

Underwear brand THINX launched two summers ago with the tagline “Underwear for women with periods.” The briefs have an insert in each pair that is absorbent, moisture-wicking and antimicrobial, so wearers can avoid leakage

But after the brand’s launch, CEO Miki Agrawal encountered some feedback from the transgender community: Women aren’t the only people with periods. Many transgender men menstruate as well.

Along with her team, Agrawal admits she didn’t think twice about the transgender experience and was struck by how right these individuals were to be so passionate about the issue. “We hadn’t give a lot of thought to it, which is not super surprising given the lack of trans male visibility even now,” she says …
