Sony’s been reevaluating its smartphone market strategy, namely in markets where Sony isn’t really a shining star like the US.

Even though the Xperia X lineup was just launched this past month, there appears to be a new contender among the Xperia X models. Strangely, the model spotted on GFX Bench was “Sony F8331” which the benchmark app report shows to contain a Snapdragon 820 CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 5.1 inch screen, and of course Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is running on the unidentified device.

There’s also a 21MP rear facing camera and a 12MP front facing camera.

Verizon has said that it plans to be the first carrier in the U.S. to offer 5G service. After all, it did start the 4G LTE ball rolling in the states. Today, Big Red says that it has completed its 5G radio specs; these specs will be used by manufacturers of smartphones, suppliers of parts used to build out the 5G network, and others helping Verizon roll out and maintain 5G service. Data speeds for 5G are supposed to be approximately 100 times those of 4G LTE.

In February, Verizon partnered with Samsung on a 5G trial. And now that it has published its 5G specs, we could see the other major … – Source

T-Mobile will sell the 2016 version of the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, Bluetooth certification reveals

This year Samsung has quietly refreshed its flagship tablets, boosting their specs somewhat but keeping the design and the names of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7 the same. T-Mobile is already selling the 2015 iteration of the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, and it looks like the magenta carrier now wants to offer the revamped model too.
