As you can see above, the Android 6.0 UI (left) just displays the source app of a notification and has a button that links to notification settings.

Turns out, Verizon WILL support Samsung Pay on the Galaxy S7 and S7edge

Well, we don’t know where it started from, but someone with a review device or an early shipment of the Galaxy S7 has reported that the Verizon’s Galaxy S7 is not compatible with Samsung Pay on the Play Store. It simply wasn’t allowing them to download it.

After reaching out to Verizon, Android Central was able to receive confirmation that Samsung Pay is, in fact, coming to the Verizon S7. The app was simply not available because it was still undergoing testing before flicking the switch and releasing the app. The Samsung Pay app is up on the Play Store now and downloadable by the Verizon S7.

Verizon executive, Jeffery Nelson, tweeted regarding this issue to clear the air once and for all.

The Samsung Pay app will be ready for users when they get their new Galaxy S7’s on Verizon when the ACTUAL launch of the phone comes around on March 11.

iFixit says that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is even tougher to repair than its predecessor

Although this is not the first time that the Samsung Galaxy S7 gets the teardown treatment, the hardware experts from iFixit have recently released their own teardown analysis. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is not the type of smartphone that you’d want to repair on your own.

iFixit gave the Samsung Galaxy S7 a repairability score of 3 out of 10 points. That’s a whole point lower than the repairability score that iFixit noted the Galaxy S6 with, and obviously a terrible score overall.
