The U.S. has started “dropping cyberbombs” on ISIS computer networks, according to a recent New York Times report.


The term “cyberbomb” sounds like something out of a novel, and it’s a new tool in the fight against ISIS. In fact, the Obama administration’s mere mention of using cyberattacks runs counter to years of not officially admitting to offensive cyber tactics. But the term really conveys complex, ongoing electronic-based operations rather than boom-you’re-dead malware attacks.

When substitute teacher Allison Wint used the word “vagina” in front of a class full of Michigan 8th graders, she expected a reaction of light giggling. She didn’t expect to be fired.


That’s what Wint is claiming happened following a lecture in which she used the word “vagina” several times during an art history lesson. The discussion was focused on controversial art and Georgia O’Keefe’s works, many of which use vaginal imagery.
