LONDON — The temperature might have dropped but it didn’t stop Londoners from supporting the seventh annual no pants day — or no trousers day as it’s known on this side of the pond.

The No Pants Subway Ride began in the U.S. in 2002 started by Improv Everywhere — a group that celebrates silliness in public places.

LOS ANGELES — David Bowie, the must-be-from-outer-space rock singer and cultural icon whose cosmic music and art fixed our eyes to the stars for six decades, has died, according to his official Facebook and Twitter accounts. He had just turned 69 on Friday, the day he dropped his 26th and final album, Blackstar.

His death was confirmed by sister publications The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard. Calls and emails to Bowie’s representatives were not immediately returned on Sunday night.
