Google’s new Udacity course will help beginners learn to write Android apps

Google and Udacity have offered Android app development courses in the past, but none quite like this.

The two companies have just announced the Android Basics Nanodegree, which consists of a set of courses that will teach you how to build simple Android apps, even if you have little or no programming experience. With these Google-designed courses, you’ll learn how to use Android Studio, the Java programming language, and much more.

At the end of the Nanodegree, you’ll have an entire portfolio of apps in your repertoire. During your training, you’ll build an order form for a coffee shop, an app to track pets in a shelter, an app to teach vocabulary words from a Native American tribe, and an app that shows recent earthquakes.

The best part? Google is offering a week-long free trial for the new courses, so you can try before you buy. Now you have no reason to keep putting this off. Want to learn more? Head to the Nanodegree link below to get all the details.
