The Top 10 trending phones of week 24

We knew it was a matter of time, and it has finally happened. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has met its match in popularity and has surrendered the crown, after being on top for 14 straight weeks.

The Top 10 trending phones chart is a recap list of the devices that gathered the most hits throughout the week. In other words, the chart represents the interests of the majority of you, our visitors.

This weeks’ chart is packed with Samsung phones, even more so than usual. We have the Galaxy Core Prime in tenth spot, keeping the Xiaomi Mi 4i out by just a few hundred hits. The high-end Galaxy Note 4 phablet is a notch higher than last week and is now in ninth.

The Galaxy S4 comes and goes, and we find it in eighth position this week, with the Galaxy E7 a spot ahead. The Galaxy A5 and S5 are in the habit of trading places on the chart and are now in sixth and fifth respectively, while the iPhone 6 is in fourth after the HTC One ME quickly vacated that spot.

The Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML holds on to the third position, where it has settled for a couple of weeks. Our long time champion Galaxy S6 has stepped down and is now in second, leaving the title to another Samsung smartphone.

All that build up leads us to this week’s number one – the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. Quietly residing in second and third for weeks on end, the affordable 5-incher has finally managed that extra mile and gotten its 15 minutes of fame.

We’re looking forward to next week to see if it has what it takes to defend the title. Meanwhile, you can hit the links below for more info on the popular phones of the week.

A CEO's Perspective On The Skill Gap Between C-Level Leaders And Newly Minted MBA Graduates

When you get your MBA in your 20s, and technology and tools change drastically every few years, how do you sufficiently re-tool so that you maximize decision making efficacy when you reach the C-Level? To think about how to re-tool, I interviewed Rob Matteuci, former P&G Executive and CEO from Evenflo to understand what C-Level leaders should do to get up-to-speed on new technologies, new techniques, and new tools.

To address this, I reached out to an individual who has unique insight on this question. Rob Matteucci, the former CEO of Evenflo and executive from Procter and Gamble who is currently an instructor at the University of Arizona, working with MBA and undergrad students. As a current instructor, he is exposed to what students are studying and learning in 2014. As a former executive, he understands the need to re-tool. What follows are insights from the discussion with Matteucci. – Source
