Google Search now has a RGB/Hex color converter

Google has been working to bring more and more functionality directly into search results, without the user having to visit a seperate site. You can now find your IP address, run a speed test, convert units, and more all from Search. Following that trend, now Google has added an RGB to Hex converter.

If you’re unfamiliar, RGB and Hex are both color spaces used to identify colors. For example, #000000 in Hex and (0,0,0) in RGB both refer to Black.

Here's everyone and everything #MoreElectableThanTrump

It wasn’t outright racism or tax troubles that finally caused Donald Trump’s campaign to implode. Instead, it was a hot mic video, revealed by the Washington Post, which exposed the Republican presidential candidate talking crudely about sexual assault in 2005.

Since the video emerged Friday, rumors have been flying about whether the GOP would dump Trump from the ticket. As Mashable has reported, it’s a near legal impossibility, but if they do manage to kick him to the curb, the internet has helpfully provided some suggestions about who and what could take up the mantle.

#MoreElectableThanTrump began trending Saturday. Almost any of these things could make some pretty decent policy decisions by comparison, probably. …

New DC Legends trailer unveiled; pre-register to unlock Wonder Woman

Warner Bros is getting ready to launch a brand new RPG featuring your favorite DC heroes and villains. DC Legends was one of the hottest topics at New York Comic Con, where the American entertainment company unveiled a new trailer for the game, as well as a special treat for anyone who pre-registers for the title. Shall we take a look?

The video is pretty self-explanatory. Gamers join Batman, Superman, The Joker and many other DC favorites to save multiple DC universes.

This is, all-in-all, a real RPG. It is possible to create your own team to battle against Nekron. Of course, it is also possible to upgrade your gear, become stronger and fine-tune your abilities.

Interested? You can go ahead and pre-register on the Google Play Store or through their email service. For all intents and purposes, this is pretty much a notification system that will let you know when the game is released. There is an incentive to getting this glorified notification, though.

In celebration of Wonder Woman’s 75th anniversary, those who sign up will unlock the coolest heroine at launch. Warner Bros tells us the game will be free-to-play, but we are sure there will be in-app purchases that will help you more easily advance in the game.

Who is excited to play? Below you can find the links to pre-register.

Matt Damon smiles for a teenager's screaming fans at New York Comic Con

It’s Matt Damon’s birthday.

As a crowd of thousands sings to him at Madison Square Garden for New York Comic Con and Damon still rides the high of reprising his role as Will Hunting the night before, the elephant in the room is that he isn’t the biggest star here.

When ear-splitting shrieks cut through the air at MSG, it’s for Junkai Wang, the 17-year-old singer who makes his film debut alongside Damon in the The Great Wall.

Appeals court restores previously-dismissed surveillance lawsuit

A lawyer who specializes in family and bankruptcy law gets another chance in his ambitious lawsuit filed against President Barack Obama. On Wednesday, the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals restored his case, after it had been dismissed at a lower district court.

Specifically, Elliott Schuchardt argued in his June 2014 complaint that both the metadata and the content of his Gmail, Facebook, and Dropbox accounts were compromised under the PRISM program as revealed in the documents leaked by former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden.

In an amended complaint filed in September 2014, Schuchardt expanded his argument, and he specifically challenged the legality of surveillance programs authorized by Executive Order 12333, Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Amendments Act (FISA AA) and Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act. (Ars explored the history of Executive Order 12333 in August 2014.)
