Lenovo Phab 2 landing in India December 6

The Lenovo Phab 2 – the non-Tango version of the Phab 2 Pro – is landing in India on December 6. The company has sent out press invites to a webinar launch with no mention of the most interesting of Phab 2 family members, the Phab 2 Pro (the Phab 2 Plus already went on sale a month ago).

Despite being Tango-less, the Phab 2 will still get you a giant screen with decent mid-range internals. The Phab 2 specs include a 6.4-inch HD display, MediaTek MT8735 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB ROM with microSD expansion and a 4,050 mAh battery. It runs Marshmallow out of the box and comes in Gunmetal Gray and Champagne Gold color options.

Unlike the Phab 2 Plus, the regular Phab 2 doesn’t have a dual camera array on the back, featuring a single 13 MP primary camera and 5 MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens for group selfies. The Phab 2 will be a Flipkart exclusive and we don’t have an official release date or price just yet, but the U.S. conversion puts it in the vicinity of INR13,000.

Will you pick up a Phab 2? What is the perfect screen size for you?

Google Photos in Japan: Search for cats, by location, jam to Polkadot Stingray

Apps we take for granted in the west are always more interesting on the “other side” of the world, where markets in the far east have a completely different flavor of consumer culture. Japan is such a market.

Very little is not commercialized in Japan, everything from anime, to food, to music, to technology is pushed in ways that seem downright odd to the uninitiated in the west.

Google’s latest promotion for Google Photos in Japan touches on all these things, courtesy of a little artistic input from up-and-coming pop-rock ensemble, Polkadot Stingray. For this young band from the … – Source

Apple: iPhone 6s battery problem is from too much air in the manufacturing process

Last month, we told you about an issue that some Apple iPhone 6s owners were having with the battery on their phone. Those models afflicted with the problem were built in September and October of 2015, and cover a certain range of serial numbers. The problem usually happens when the battery indicator indicates that there is 30% of life left on the cell. The phone then shuts down and won’t turn back on until the charger is plugged in with the phone attached. … – Source

Google is "actively working on a solution" to fix recent camera issues on Pixel phones

The Google Pixel is a phenomenal phone. It offers an excellent build, unique design, incredible performance, and the best version of the Android OS that we’ve seen yet. When Google took the wraps off of the Pixel back in October, the company made a big deal about how DxOMark rated the camera on the Pixel as the best camera to ever be present in a smartphone. The future president is blocking people on Twitter like there's no tomorrow

Since winning this year’s presidential election the talk of the 2016 Twitter-sphere, Donald Trump, is heavily utilizing the site’s block feature.

It appears that the controversial tweeter has decided if he sees anyone badmouthing him or disagreeing with his policies on his favorite social media site, he will simply hit the digital “you’re fired” button, dismissing the unwanted followers from his Twitter life.

Sick burn, Donald.
