By now just about everyone has played Pokémon Go. Like all Pokémon games, catching ’em all, completing your Pokédex and leveling up your trainer is a painful grind.


Reddit user “problemz”wanted to know what it’s like to reach the game’s highest level. But instead of playing the game nonstop like any self-respecting Pokémon Go player would, he says he cheated his way to level 40 using a bot.

The feat is the “world’s first” that we know of. We’ve seen level 30 accounts and thought that was intense.


Reaching level 40 requires gaining 5 million XP (experience points) from 39, according to _problemz. “That last Level was even for me and my little bot a pain in the ass,” the user wrote. …

The Philippines will host Miss Universe in 2017


If Filipinos didn’t get enough of the Miss Universe pageant this year with its own contestant winning the crown, they’re about to get a second wave when Manila plays host to the international beauty pageant next year.


The Philippines’ Department of Tourism announced to the press on Thursday that the country will be hosting the next Miss Universe on Jan. 30, 2017.

Galaxy S7/S7 edge demand pushes Samsung to record profit in over two years


Samsung has announced its financial results for Q2 (the quarter ending June 30), revealing a revenue of KRW 50.94 trillion (around $45.2 billion) and an operating profit of KRW 8.14 trillion (or $7.22 billion). The revenue was up 5% y-o-y, while operating profit rose 18%.


This is Samsung’s best quarterly performance since early 2014.
