June Security Update Factory Images And OTA Zips For Nexus Devices Are Live

Right on schedule on the first Monday of the month, Google’s latest security updates for Nexus devices have arrived. Both factory images and OTA update zips for June 2016 are available for the following devices, listed below with build numbers for your convenience.

This month’s security bulletin can be found here, and this month’s updates contain six security fixes Google has deemed “critical,” four of which are specific to Qualcomm driver privilege elevation vulnerabilities (a further five such Qualcomm driver vulnerabilities were classified from high to moderate severity).

Huawei Watch gets $100 price cut in US

If you are in the US and are in the market for a smartwatch, you’ll be glad to know that the Huawei Watch has received a decent price cut in the country. The device – specifically the black leather variant – is currently listed for $250 on Best Buy.

That’s down $100 from the wearable’s usual price tag at the online retailer. A quick look at the Get Huawei store also reveals a $350 price tag for the model, meaning purchasing from Best Buy will indeed save you $100. Amazon, meanwhile, has the variant listed for around $318.

Mansions fall into ocean as wild storm lashes east coast of Australia

Sydney, Australia woke on Monday morning to a hellish sight. The city had been lashed by a savage storm during the weekend, with severe erosion destroying some beachside properties.

One mansion, propped on a cliff in the badly-affected area of Collaroy beach, lost its swimming pool to the wild ocean. Other multi-million dollar properties along the same strip lost their balconies and lower levels.
