Apple Pay arrives in Oz, only available to Amex card holders

In line with what CEO Tim Cook revealed last month, Apple’s mobile payment service – Apple Pay – has now also been launched in Australia, making it the fourth country – after the US, UK, and Canada – where the service is now available.

The service – which allows you to make payments using an iPhone 6 (or higher) or an Apple Watch – is, however, only available to Amex card holders Down Under, and that too only those who’ve got their card issued directly from American Express.

Similar restrictions are also there in Canada, where the mobile payments service was launched earlier this week. Several other countries, including Spain, Singapore, and Hong Kong are scheduled to get Apple Pay in 2016.

English police officers react surprisingly well to this guy's persistent trolling

Police in the UK sometimes get a bit of a bad rep as being something of a grumpy bunch, but they’re clearly not all that bad.

British YouTube prankster Jack Jones has proved this in his latest (incredibly silly) video, which sees him going up to random police officers to see if they’ll hold his hand, do their best celebrity impression or sing along to pop songs with him.

Rather than swiftly arresting him, though, the police all seem to go along with the joke quite happily. One of them even pinches his hat and runs away with it. …

I have a bit of a tech addiction, and as such I have a lot of different gadgets floating around my house. Some of the purchases I have made, I will readily admit, were mistakes, and sit around gathering dust unused.
