That sentiment, as said by actress Olivia Taylor Dudley at Saturday’s New York Comic Con panel for Syfy’s upcoming book-to-screen adaptation The Magicians, pretty much sums up how the cast and crew feel about the project.
Dudley and her five costars on the 13-episode miniseries are all passionate fans of Lev Grossman’s bestselling novels — and their enthusiasm is nothing compared to the writers and executive producers, John McNamara and Sera Gamble

“Amazon recommended the book to me because I read so much stuff like this, and I fell in love with it years ago. I was obsessed with it,” said Gamble. “We optioned it with our own money and wrote it on spec.” …
