Artist turns pumpkins into museum-worthy works of art

Sadly, every pumpkin that Edward Cabral carves this year will begin to rot shortly after he finishes his gourd art


“We had some storms come through this weekend, which knocked out about 60 pumpkins from the show, so we were busy carving replacements,” Cabral wrote Mashable in an email. Definitely a dangerous consequence of working with a perishable medium, like pumpkins.
