Fuel price hike: Freight rates to go up by 8-9%

Following hike in diesel rates, transporters said they will raise freight rates by 8-9% with immediate effect on all routes across India. The freight rate from Ludhiana to Mumbai will increase by Rs 2,000 to Rs 24,000.
