Kochi on alert after Lashkar-e-Taiba threat

The home ministry has asked the Kerala police to step up security in Kochi following intelligence inputs that Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists may attempt to strike the coastal city. The Southern Command of the Navy is located in Kochi.
