Apple releases iOS 9.3.1 with fix for bug that causes tapping links to crash iPhones

Well that was quick. A couple of days after a bug affecting iOS started making the news, Apple has released a fix. iOS 9.3.1, now available on the iPhone and iPad, fixes this bug. New update for the Samsung Gear S2 is now available for download

Last week, Samsung released an update for the Gear S2 smartwatch and now owners of the watch are treated to another one. The latest update weighs in at 20.39 MB and is available from the Samsung Gear app.

Sadly, the company didn’t update the changelog of the latest update and you can find the same bullet points from the one from a week earlier. We can only guess what changes the new update brings, but it’s safe to assume that some bugs needed ironing out and there are no new features this time.

'Violent' man on plane arrested after he wanted to do yoga instead of sit down

HONOLULU — A Japan-bound airplane returned to Hawaii because of a violent passenger who wanted to do yoga instead of sit in his seat, the FBI said.

The pilot of the March 26 United Airlines flight from Honolulu International Airport to Narita International Airport turned the plane around after hearing that Hyongtae Pae was yelling at crew members and shoving his wife, the FBI said in a criminal complaint.

Pae told the FBI he didn’t want to sit in his seat during the meal service, so he went to the back of the plane to do yoga and meditate. He became angry when his wife and flight attendants told him to return to his seat. “Pae pushed his wife because she was trying to make him stop,” the complaint said. “He felt that she was siding with the flight crew.” …

LOS ANGELES — It’s no secret that Judd Apatow is a big-hearted guy with a mile-wide sentimental streak, but there is something surprisingly touching about his reaction to the death of Garry Shandling, his dear friend and mentor, who died of a sudden heart attack last Thursday.

Beta Marshmallow build of OxygenOS for OnePlus 2 is now accessible to all, not OTA though

A couple of weeks ago OnePlus started soak testing its update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the OnePlus 2 with a few users to check for bugs and whatnot. That test was not an open one, but things have changed now.

Starting today you too can download and try a beta build of Marshmallow for the OnePlus 2, namely OxygenOS 3.0. You do need to manually flash it though, because it’s not available as an over-the-air update. That’s because the Chinese company wants to make sure all possible kinks have been ironed out by the time the OTA rollout starts. The good news is that this build will…
