LOS ANGELES — It’s no secret that Judd Apatow is a big-hearted guy with a mile-wide sentimental streak, but there is something surprisingly touching about his reaction to the death of Garry Shandling, his dear friend and mentor, who died of a sudden heart attack last Thursday.
Since then, Apatow has posted 23 Shandling-related photos — and nothing but Shandling-related photos — on his Instagram account. And counting, by the looks of it.
