2016 has been awful.
You’d think it would take a break over the holidays from claiming a whole host of talented artists including Prince, David Bowie and Leonard Cohen.
But nope. 2016 is a jerk, even during the holidays. It’s ruthless in its quest to claim the people who help bring us joy in the world.
First with the Friday evening scare with Star Wars’ Carrie Fisher, who suffered a heart attack during a flight on Friday and then with pop icon George Michael’s death on Sunday. 2016, get lost already.
No, 2016, you can’t have Carrie Fisher too. We will not stand for any more nonsense.
