LONDON — As Christmas draws ever nearer, children all over the world will be turning their attention to one person in particular: Santa Claus. Single-handedly delivering presents to children all over the world is no mean feat, but someone’s got to do it. The question remains: if Santa were a woman, could she do the job?
This was the question posed to British kids by creative agency Anomaly as part of a festive social experiment aiming to encourage parents to talk to their children about gender inequality.
Alarmingly, the near-unanimous answer was, “No, she could not.”
