Study results promising for hepatitis C patients awaiting or completing liver transplant

Hepatitis C patients who are awaiting a liver transplant or have completed one are a difficult group to cure because hepatitis C can come back after transplant. A recent trial showed that a large number of these patients can be cured with an oral regimen of daclatasvir, sofosbuvir and ribavirin.
