BAUCHI, Nigeria (Reuters) – Nigerian forces backed by warplanes invaded Islamist group Boko Haram’s last known stronghold, the Sambisa forest, on Wednesday, in an effort to finally defeat their six-year-old insurgency, two military sources said.
