The film that is being made for Rs. 4 crore has 35 actors featuring in it; Naseeruddin will be seen talking in Marathi for the first time on the big screen. The story of the film revolves around, a group of people from a rural area where, their lives change due to development and modernisation in villages. Nana would be playing the part of a Sarpanch in the film. The film also stars Dilip Prabhawalkar, the actor who played Mahatma Gandhi in Lage Raho Munnabhai and Mohan Agashe.
