Goats cannot, will not eat any more of your Christmas trees


Goats might look like they’re naturally healthy, but it takes work to maintain their impeccable figures. Sometimes, even they have to say “no” to their favorite snacks and treats.


Every year, a program in San Francisco gives local goats Christmas trees to consume. But recently, the city’s fire officials announced that goats had reached their Christmas tree capacity. Despite the trees’ one-of-a-kind acid and brittle flavor, goats were starting to refuse the holiday delicacy.

They were, simply, stuffed


“The goats love to eat the trees, which provide vitamins, minerals and are even thought to offer natural intestinal worm prevention for the herd,” City Grazing explains …
