Good news, Volkswagen Microbus fans: There might be a new one coming very soon … with an electric motor driving the wheels.

When, in the wake of dieselgate, Volkswagen said it’d refocus its energy on electric vehicles, we thought that meant it would have a few new, eco-friendly EVs in a few years time. Seems, though, that the embattled German automaker has been hard at work and has already prepared a new electron-driving car.
We say that because Friday it released a teaser image of the concept vehicle it will debut at 2016 CES, saying, “the world premiere marks the beginning of a new era of affordable long-distance electromobility.” …
