Until I rolled down the window of the Range Rover Sport Td6 in a highway tunnel to listen for the telltale tone of a diesel engine, a sound similar to an industrial grinder gnawing away at some gravel, I wasn’t totally sure I was in fact driving a diesel-powered Land Rover.
