Bosses would do well to make sure their employees are able to get a good night’s sleep — their productivity depends on it.
That’s according to a new survey of more than 20,000 workers across the world that found that the average person missed 7.4 days of work per year due to poor sleep. Those who identified as below-average sleepers were absent for nearly twice as many days.

The study, orchestrated by Big Health, a UK-based startup that makes a sleep management app called Sleepio, asked anonymous respondents questions about their sleeping patterns and work schedules along with any problems they were having in either area. …
