An Australian politician has refused to stand up during a standing ovation for domestic violence campaigner Rosie Batty

Graham Watt, an MP in the right-wing Liberal Party, continued to sit as the rest of the Victorian Parliament applauded Batty for her moving speech on the issue on Thursday
