Tesla with Autopilot is the perfect road trip car, if only you could go hands-free

With its latest software update, which has been rolling out since Oct. 14, Tesla has added features to its electric car that will make long distance driving much easier — if you’re willing to let Tesla take the wheel.


The 7.0 software builds features such as Autopark, Autosteer and Auto Lane Change into the Model S, making the experience among the closest you can get to autonomous driving until fully-driverless cars hit the streets. Check out Mashable’s complete rundown of the update specs.
