Almost exactly seven years to the day after Jack Dorsey was pushed out of the top spot at Twitter, Jack is officially back for the longterm.
Twitter confirmed Monday that it has named Dorsey, the bearded, soft-spoken, Steve Jobs-lookalike cofounder who is often credited with coming up with the original idea for the social network, as its permanent CEO following three months of him serving in the role on an interim basis.
Adam Bain is the company’s new COO.
