A magnitude 7.5 earthquake hit northern Afghanistan on Monday, with effects of the tremor felt in both Pakistan and India. More than 200 people have been reported dead, and local reports fear the death toll will rise into the hundreds.


The deep quake caused widespread damage in various areas within the region, with reports of hundreds injured — and the humanitarian response is ramping up.
