Our long national Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer roll-out nightmare is over. Last night was indeed the IMAX trailer launch event, and reports came in of packed houses and excited crowds. My AMC Woodland Hills auditorium was pretty full, and everyone in attendance got an IOU for a free pre-release screening of the film a week before its March 25th debut. That’s a rather lovely gesture frankly, as WB basically took a big chunk out of its own opening weekend gross by giving the biggest of the big fans a free preview of the film that (presumably) won’t be tabulated into the film’s debut frame grosses. Anyway, the trailer that ran last night was the same one as we all saw online last week, with the addition of a five-second sequence of Batman and Superman charging at each other like the end of Rocky III (cue the “Eye of the Tiger” remix). - Source
