Shutdown in Chhattisgarh to protest Maoist massacre

Roads were deserted, schools closed and shops downed shutters across many parts of Chhattisgarh on Thursday as the opposition Congress began a daylong shutdown to protest the massacre of 76 troopers by Maoists.
