Groove Music to finally get curated playlists with Your Groove


Microsoft has finally updated the Groove app to include a highly requested (and overdue) feature for curated playlists, called “Your Groove”. It might not seem like a big deal, but it is, to Groove users at least. With the new addition, Microsoft’s music app finally has to offer something that Google Play Music, Spotify and Apple Music users have been enjoying for quite some time.

I’ve had very little chance to mess with it, but the apps I have used (Hangouts, Maps, Search, the Play Store) all seem to run pretty well. Funnily, the Play Store still allowed to install Google Now Launcher… but you can’t change the launcher, since the launcher is the windowed app mode.

Yesterday, we told you that the fourth Developers preview of Android N was available for certain devices. Owners of Nexus models like the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Nexus 9 can load the latest preview if they are members of the Android Beta Program. One area undergoing change in Android N is Quick Settings.

All the excitement about the OnePlus 3 has left us wondering when we can actually order a soft gold version of the Chinese phone company’s newly announced flagship, the OnePlus 3.


The OnePlus online store doesn’t even show a soft gold option upon ordering the new phone. Only the graphite version of the phone can be purchased at the moment.


A curious OnePlus fan tweeted to Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus regarding the availability of the soft gold version of the OnePlus 3 to which Pei replied that it will be available “some time in the later part of July”.
